RJ IN WYO 03-16-2013 10:20:41 174.45.133.175 Report to Moderator	replacing and rewiring headlight on my 8n. have power but light wont work. run ground wire down to frame and touch bulb it works. i know its not getting good ground. could it be the light housing that hold the bulb to the hood that isnt making a good ground and need to be removed and cleaned up thanks rj in wyo [Reply]   [No Email]

I would "fish" a #16 ga insulated stranded wire thru the headlite feed tube and ground it on the castiron block. Actually, 18ga "zip" wire from hardware store would problably be eazier to fish and cut to length. Radiator is NOT a ground as it is rubber mounted on bottom and slanted neck tube. ........grounded Dell   [Reply]  [No Email]
