Our snowpack here in West Central Minn is getting pretty impressive.

Here's the 1940 9N under a pile of it.

Gary, keep sending it on over :-)

Colin, MN

The western shore gets lots and lots of lake effect. Sometimes the lake effect will dump a foot on us near the lake and 50 miles inland it will be sunny.

I knew that the UP got a lot of snow, but I didn't know it was that much! Impressive.

At least you can still see the tractor. UP here I have a parts A/C WD that is completely buried under the snow, just a little bump showing. Over 200 inches this season with up to 5 feet on the ground in places.

Holly buckets! I'm guessing you're either in the San Juans or the Sierras.

Um, Walmart has 6x8 blue plastic tarps for $2.99. Bungie straps in the bycycle section are pretty cheap also. Just sayin!! ;0)

Fed X and UPS will deliver to your door. Pretty neat eh? Something that light would cost hardly anything to ship. It would be a whole lot better than setting on a wet seat. I would think it would be worth it just to keep your distributer and wiring dry.

Thank you. This 9N is actually another project. It doesn't currently run and is waiting its turn in the shop. I rescued it from a guy who was going to part it out. I hope to get to it next winter.

This is not ment for you but I can't believe how many people buy nice riding lawn mowers then procede to leave them sit out uncovered year round. It's commen to see seats messed up from the sun drying them out during the summer. My John Deere has over 1,000 hrs on it and it still looks like new. When I'm not using it it's in the shed.

OK Colin;

'Just ask, and you shall receive', sending ya some more of the white stuff.

Just shoveled the front porch @ about 12:30 pm. Quit snowing about then, but....MORE in the forcast until the end of this week!!!!

The Snowmobile trailer side you see in the background, is about 2 1/2 ft. off the ground....so you can see what we have been getting for a while.

Taken about 15min's ago....:

If this keeps up, and I can finish up the five carbs, I am workin' on, by this week-end.....I'll be leading out another bunch to the mountains on the sleds!!!

Can't let them go up there by themselves, now, Can I?????? They might get lost!!!

The sacrifices I make!!!

ENJOY!!!

Make sure none of those lads get lost up in those mountains this weekend :-)

See there is another good reason I do not live up in MN any more. But that said the weather guessers are calling for rain turning to snow with 1-5 inches when all said and done

Ya we are now up to 6 inches here. So explain where Kearney is by way of Hwy. You know I am at hwy5 and hwy 54 give or take about 7 miles lol Just looked out the door and it is starting to turn white out but the thermometer says it is around 32 out. But that also depends on which one I look at.

Ya know what you mean but when you have an over size load on your back sides the state say you drive here and there and when and when you can not drive there. Funny thing is many times they also route you places where you can not even drive due to narrow bridges or low over passes etc.
