Do you have the I-T FO-4 manual?? If you do there are some good pictures in it as to the control linkage. If you do not have it you need to get it. As for the air I saw you said something about filling it so knew air was not the problems |

| I do not have that manual...where can I get it? Thanks again for your help everyone. Oh...one more thing- I have had carb trouble forever- thing rusts like crazy in Florida humidity...just had a master rebuild of it...and it was sand blasted and acid dipped...started her up, a couple of adjustments and it runs MUCH better...wonderin about a timing issue though...while running at a good pace in second or first, when i throttle down she back fire- not every time, once in a while...and 3rd gear it has no power and takes forever to "ramp up" and go... what do you think? |

| Most any farm and home store should have that manual or be able to get it as well as a tractor dealer. As for timing refresh my memory what are you working on?? If it is a front mount distributor not likely to be a timing problem but could be a point gap problem. Points need to be set at 0.015 and be sure to check it on all 4 lobes |
