I would need to know what type of alternator and how you have it wired to help you.
Do you have diagram of how it is wired?

| the alternator has a 2 wire plug and 1 wire that connects to the bolt type.i am out of time right now gotta hit the sack have to get up early i wil get back on here later sometime this week just not sure when thanks for your help.
