LisaK 12-09-2012 05:51:31 24.220.105.216 Report to Moderator	The power jet under the main nozzle. The carb was off the tracor that had been sitting for 15 years. The carb was rusty as heck inside and between soaking in carb cleaner and the works we got all the rust off and the jet was plugged. I suppose half of it is still in the bottom of the carb. We have always taken this jet out and replaced it when doing a rebuild on the carb and never had it break. I don't believe the threads in the hole are messed up as it twisted off pretty easily. To get that cleaned out, properly....you should remove the whole jet, with lft.-handed drill, and pick out all the left over brass.!!! Then re-thred the passage with the right size tap!!!!! If you do not know what the sizing is for the threds and jet.......you can email me, and I will return the info. that you will need to have before drilling.!!!! If the drilling is NOT done properly, and or straight, you will have just ruined the bowl of the carb.......!!!!!! NOT hard to fix that jet....just takes time and paying attention to detail!!!
