| just got another 8n..guy had inserted filter next to exhaust manifold...took your word fuel line needs to be 14"..went to town 30mi trip..got line ..bent the first curve ..found the line just got to edge of hood..what tractor does the 14" line fit..bout 11" short...thanks for the good advice |

| Brake line works just fine and will cost you less then half the price of a factory type line your call. I always use brake line any more and if to long I just put a loop in it so as to dampen vibration |

| That is why brake line works so well it is pre flared to the correct size plus it is a double flare so holds up better |

| Bending tool??? I have never used one yet when working with brake line but yes some people can mess up a cannon ball in a swimming pool |

| Yep last time I bent a circular bend in one I used a carb cleaner can as the form and worked just fine |

A power steering pump or alternator pulley makes a good shade tree bending tool .
To the original post , remove the drain plug (1/8" pipe thread ) and replace with a $3 drain cock . If a constant stream of fuel will not flow into a coffee can then you can check one part at a time until you eliminate the problem . |
