I have been looking for a front mount N motor for a couple of years. None to be had anywhere close to AZ. I found one on the East coast but shipping was hard to believe.Even from as close as Idaho shipping is high. I bare block 80 miles from where I live that I could go get was $500. I couldn't even find anyone that would trade for a side mount in good shape.Sooo, I guess I will use the motor that came with the tractor. I bought it as stuck but the problem was a piece of starter drive stuck between the housing and the ring gear. I didn't want to use it cuz it had been cracked and JB welded. I will clean up the old JB and redo it. I need the tractor so I can put a loader on it(I already have the loader) for occasional use. Prices for old fords around here are PRETTY high. The tractor was really cobbled up.Good winter project. Gonna start after Thanksgiving. |
