As Gary says ding it with air can/will mess the float up and then your in more trouble. Surging is caused by linkage binding and or the carb running lean   [Reply]  [No Email]

Don't blow ANY thing into that carb!!! That may/probly will, cause you to buy a new set of floats!!! Take the carb apart, and totally clean out the passages, and install NEW gaskets. If the carb, has NOT been serviced in a long time.....I would suggest you actually need to overhaul the carb, installing a NEW carb kit in it!!!
