Very simple and no head jokes even if I am former navy. Drain the cooling system. Fill the cooling system with vinegar run it till work let cool drain and then back flush by way of the block drain. Rig up a way to hook a garden hose to the block drain and let it flow for an hour or so. If real bad strain the vinegar and then fill the system back up and run again. Vinegar will clean out rust and lime etc and works very well |

| Ok. Wasn't sure if the vinegar would be strong enuff. I'll find some 10% and fill the head till I get some circulation. then button it up and refill completely, run til it's hot, repeat. Does vinegar work better when it's hot? DON TX |

| Yes any acid which is what vinegar is works better when hot. Water which is a universal solvent works better hot and that is why you wash dishes in hot water LOL or at least one of the reason |
