Question, if i heat the block will the bore ID get larger or smaller with expansion? Thinking if they get larger and the sleeves are in freezer maybe I can get the new ones in by myself????? Gitta pound of DRY-ICE ($1, cheap) from the grocery store (yellow pages) Make a spool of 2-wooden roundy pieces, (they don't haffta be perfectly round, just the bottom on hassta fit thru the sleeve) and some 1/2" all-thread and 4-nuts. Fill the sleeve with chips of DRY-ICE and wait a couple of minutes. With GLOVED hands, slip the DRY-ICE cold sleeve down yer cylinder block. Now un-nut the bottom roundy piece and capture the DRY-ICE chips innna buckett and repeat fer the next sleeve and cylinder. Simple, eh? ........frosty Dell   [Reply]  [No Email]
