Hello all. I have had my 1948 8n for several years and today acquired a basket case ford brand front end loading bucket setup that I believe is made for a N series ford, but.. I am not seeing any of the mounting needed on my tractor. Also to complicate things I have a half track setup that I quite like and hope to modify things so they will work with the loader, anyhow, the first thing I need to do is verify that this is the right loader for a 8n before I start overhauling it. Can anyone help me with this? |

| You would think it would work for me too right, but instead it just says "returning to upload another photo.." and never finishes after I hit continue. |

| After you click upload and see the preview in the little box, click the
Continue button and it should insert in the main box below where you typed.
You'll be able to see the tags/code it inserts.

| I have a Dearborn 19-61 Loader on my 2N. While I dont have the complete half track set up I do have the rear mounting brackets attached to tractor. Dont know if they were on at same time for alinement purposes. |

Go to:
Follow the Manuals->Loaders link in the red navigation bar at the top of the page. You will find user and parts manuals for most of the older Ford loaders there and you should be able to ID what you have from them. If you need the loader or pump mounting brackets I make them.

| | 1, congrats on the N with tracks. I love them arrps and bombardier setups 2, we will need the model id of the laoder.. or at least pics. go ahead and give us both if you hav ethe id #.. plus pics of the N showing us the clearance you have at the back axle and the bogey or dead wheel. 3, *most* N loaders have 3 attach points. 2 at the rear axles where the fender bolts go, and 1 at the front king pin where there is a hanger plate installed for the kingpin and the front of the loader swings from there and lets the bolster support the axle independently of the loader. thus the loader swings fromt he front and then has beams tot he back axles *USUALLY*. lets see what you go. |
