If I install these ( at my age ) this should be my last tractor. Where or which distributor has the best reliable parts - not restoration quality, just good products. It is good to support yer sponsor. They mail usually overnite. As Bruce recommends, have yer genny and starter rebuilt. Find a "mom'n'pop" rebuild store. Surprizingly enuff, BOTH the 1-wire 3rd brush genny and the 6V starter motor are semi-bulletproof .......Dell [Reply]  [No Email]

The genny, maybe but the starter has been beat to death by the PO to a point that it isn't even round anymore so...if I spend some $ correcting this, I want something that will hopefully last. If you don't have a good rebuild shop nearby, these guys do 'mail order' work. Give them a call to get a quote & shipping info.
