Okay, I am looking for a clutch if mine stays stuck, starter and 6V single terminal generator for my 47 front mount 2N. If I install these ( at my age ) this should be my last tractor. Where or which distributor has the best reliable parts - not restoration quality, just good products. Thanks in advance, John |

| John........you do know that our sponsor, Yesterdays Tractor sells quality N-Parts, don't you? It is good to support yer sponsor. They mail usually overnite. As Bruce recommends, have yer genny and starter rebuilt. Find a "mom'n'pop" rebuild store. Surprizingly enuff, BOTH the 1-wire 3rd brush genny and the 6V starter motor are semi-bulletproof .......Dell |

| Thanks Dell, I am aware of that and have gotten some nice parts from our sponser who handled the returns of those parts very elequently. The genny, maybe but the starter has been beat to death by the PO to a point that it isn't even round anymore so...if I spend some $ correcting this, I want something that will hopefully last. John |

| | One of my hard & fast rules w/ the N's is to never, ever buy new what I can have rebuilt. If you don't have a good rebuild shop nearby, these guys do 'mail order' work. Give them a call to get a quote & shipping info. They do carbs, starters, generators, water pumps, clutches, brakes etc. Automotive Manufacturers Incorporated 2400 N Lombardy St Richmond, VA 23220 (804) 321-6861 |
