tn8n 09-24-2012 09:11:31 32.179.68.183 Report to Moderator	after searching the internet, i"ve noticed there is a wide price difference on all these enginge kits available. for instance, at engineking.com, their kit comes with both bearing sets AND rotating valves, full gasket set, etc for about 315.00. all that from this site is way over 400.00 (sorry YT have to save money where you can!) i guess my question really is like everything are they cheaper for a reason? i would much prefer to buy from YTMAG like i have everything else, but they don"t accept paypal for engine kits, and i have to pay with amex, which only paypal accepts. anybody have experience with kits from anybody else? i don"t want to buy junk just to save 100 dollars. I called customer service and told them my predicament and they worked it out for me where I could buy through Paypal and use Amex. Turns out to use Paypal you have to have a set dollar amount, where with the engine kits it can vary based on if you add bearings, rotating valves, etc. Well anyway they worked out the price of the kit and other stuff I was going to buy, had me order a power steering pump which is the same price, then had me call them and they shipped me the kit and bearings instead of the pump. Crisis Averted! So I just wanted to say good job YT and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs any parts. [Reply]  [No Email]

There is more then one sleeve thickness and that could be a price factor. Also there is a 3 ring and a 4 ring type piston and that makes a difference also [Reply]  [No Email]
