I can work with my Jubilee for an hour or more. Been dragging my 6' rake on our gravel roads.
BUT!! If I turn it off I have to wait about 20 minutes before she will restart?
Really afraid to go to far from the house with the restart problem.
Any Help Please.....

| | simple! troubleshoot the problem!! when you shut her down and she wo't restart. check the very first thing you should be checking!!! does she have spark. if not.. find out why. if yes.. move on to fuel!!!! |

| I let her run for awhile and shut it down. Would not restart, when I checked I do have spark.
So, looks like it fuel?
My gas cap is not original equipment but seems to fit ok, have one on order. Is there such a thing as vapor lock with tractors?
I might try to open the two fuel adjustments on the Carb. I had them both backed off two turns, maybe a half turn more open might help.
Don't think I have been using the choke on the restart either.
Screens and oil are clean in Carb. breather tower. (not sure of name)
What's U think?
Thanks,

| | fuel, air, compression and spark at the right time are needed for an IC engine. since it had been running you can assume air, and compression and timing are ok. since it had spark at restart attempt.. rule that out. fuel is what's left. vapor lock? I doubt your machine has a fule pump.... you may yet have some sort of fuel restriction in a valve or filter.. or if the line has been custom routed or changed to rubber.. bent or whatnot. remove the bowl drain from the carb and see if it will pee gas into a jar. tweak carb knobs? why? are you TRYING to make it run worse? it starts and runs fine cold. carb is set FINE.. don't screw it up... |

| Since the Jubilee has the round can coil check it to make sure it is not so hot you can not touch it. If it is that could well be your problem. Points not as likely but you can check your spark when you shut it down to make sure you have a good blue/white spark that jumps a 1/4 inch gap or more. If you do this when hot then you know which way to go for fix it. Could also be a problem with the tank vent being clogged and pushing to much fuel into the carb so it is flooding till it sits for a while and evaporates the fuel off. You can check that by carefully removing the gas cap and see if the gas is boiling or the cap tries to blow off when you loosen it |
