Thought I would share my delight in the fact I await getting my newley rebuilt 52 8n at end the of the week and figured now Ill be having many questions and comments as I put her to work this fall and winter. I had the rebuild done but decided to keep the resto to just a function over form level as I intend to use the tractor not take it to parades. As soon as i get it I need to install the pie weights I have just wire wheeled down to metal and painted. Like I said not a complete new paint job for the tractor but I do want to keep her respectable. I will probably just touch up the paint with a brush as opposed to taking it all apart and spraying. These days I sandblast weights but this too is quite a job when one factors in prime and paint. One must handle and rehandle the parts again and again. Nasty lead filled paint dust is BAD juju so beware. It shure does make them pie weights look perty tho!   [Reply]  [No Email]
