what does the pto shift fork push to engage the pump? reinstalling the shift plate not sure where to index?? THX

| I don't have a picture handy, but there's a sliding coupler that connects
the PTO shaft to the transmission output.
The PTO shaft turns the pump when they are connected together.
The fork slides that coupler to connect or disconnect the two shafts.
