I have not been out of the state of Missouri since back in 1996 or so. I do not travel well any more due to a bad back and my doctor says to limit how much and how far I do drive. That is one reason I mes with these old tractors less hard on my back because I drive them slow LOL

Bad thing is with me the doctor tells be to stay active or go to P/T so again I do a little hay and play in the garden and that type of stuff. Got way more tractors then I need at something like 30 of them. The oldest one is a 1935 JD-B that was my grand fathers and I have had my grand kids on it so 5th generation sitting on it. Picture is my son driving it in a show

Yep know about the hurt to move thing. I still get a lot done it just takes me 5 times longer to do it. I still have an old David Brailey garden tractor here with equipment but never use it. Still has the engine that would be the same as came on it but it is off another one I had

Years ago my dad had a Gravely that he got in 74 give or take a year or two. Had electric start and a ride on cart behind and boy would it cut. It did seem to have a small problem. If you let it sit for say 2 months the valves would stick so you then had to pull the head off free them up and all would work well till you let it sit to long. Still remember one time when I pulled the head off to free up the valves some kids where watching me and said hey you can not put that head back on you need to go to town and buy a new head gasket. Well I told them watch and see and keep your months shut till I am done. Put the head back on with the used gasket and hit the starter button and off I went cutting the yard and they just stood there with there mouths open like you can not do that but I did any how

My dad got this place back in 1976 and I got it right before he passed away. Back from the age of 4 to around 9 or 10 I lived in Winfiled KS then moved to Leigh NE. and from there to Athen TN and then Cleveland MS and then the navy

I still have relatives in Joplin MO. Matter of fact we just lost on of my moms cousins that lived in Joplin a few days ago. My grand father on my moms side had a farm in the Senica OK area so Joplin was just a hope skip and jump from there. I my self was born in Alabama the town that is the home of the AC-G Gadsten. But before I was 5 I had lived in more towns then I was old. Alabama then 2 or 3towns in MO then up to MN then down to KS and you know the rest. I moved here in July of 1980 so been here for a tad over 32 years
