Enjoying a fairly relaxing holiday working on the new-to-me 8N.

This is the same 8N I asked the lift cylinder question about.

PO tore it apart and threw all (most) of the pieces in a box.

This was the rig they had for "fixing" the top cover that had the

draft control spring broken out.

The top cover in the picture is the replacement, I just stuck it on so we

could see how the rig was bolted up.

The lift arms are bolted up so I can move it around while I'm working on it.

Not thinking it's even a spring Bob, just flat stock that they bolted down with the seat. The other end was rolled to put a pin through.

It probably would have been easier to see if it hadn't been on there when they painted the tractor.

It eventually busted the bolt holes out of the top cover.

Glad I wasn't on it when it let loose!

Also working on the 30 Pack of Bud my neighbor gave me for helping him move (this is after the mean baxter sold me his 2 yr. old generator for $200 !! Some peeple !!

No question in this post Dean.

Just sharing the picture of how the tractor had been rigged up.

Thank you for your help in my other posts!
