Hello Gang,
Thanks to everyone for all the help and advice.
She is running good and no leaks. Got the cotter pin back in and it does not drip as it did before. There was almost 8 quarts of gear oil in the trans. pan when the spec.s call for 6 quarts.
New O rings fixed the leak from the hydraulic pump to the rear connecting lines.
She fires up on the first or second crank, good oil pressure and no smoke.
Many thanks to everyone and I know I'll still have questions and I know where to come for answers.
Thanks again,
WVkid |

| since the leak abated when you corrected the trans fill.. that lets you know you have a weak input shaft seal. next time you split her, deffinately plan for that ( I'd repalce the input shaft seal any time i split her anyway.. but just asyin.. etc.. ) |
