tom norton 08-30-2012 09:37:29 70.225.174.228 Report to Moderator	was discing pasture before we get the 6-9 inches of rain from "isaac" we are supposed to get this weekend in central illinois in hopes of smoothong it some so grandkids can run their 4 wheelers without getting bounced off! started spitting and sputtering, then would only run with choke fully closed an made a strange noise! I was able to get disc off and get tractor in barn, but it buck and sputtered all the way. thinking about running carb cleaner through it? [Reply]   [No Email]

If that is the case, then I would suspect that rust, or debris has gotten into the pasasages of the carb.!!! I would first check that you still have a good blue/white spark that jumps a 1/4 inch gap or more. Then check for a good fuel flow out the carb drain plug and let it flow for a couple minutes to make sure it is not full of water or dirt etc. You also might try removing the fuel cap and see if maybe it has a clogged vent causing it to starve for fuel. Also once cool does it run just fine then after good and warm start having problems?? If yes then run it till the problem starts and then check all that I said [Reply]  [No Email]

Ittza 'mazin' how watered gas smells like real gas but won't burn worth s#ut. Just top-up yer real gas with FRESH NEW gasoline and try that. .........watered Dell [Reply]  [No Email]
