having gotten some very interesting results when sending the wife/kids

to the store for a parts run.....

if antique tractor fluid is what makes her remember the right thing,

I'd say, yep, that's the stuff!

best question I was asked was when I was at a hunting camp

doing some work with a NAA, and the owners wife asked if I would pull a stump.

freshly cut 3' plus diameter tree.

And another reason to get the 2N running......my wife has logged many lawn mower hours mowing in the pasture but nothing on the lawn :(

My old Cub Cadet has the rabbit and turtle on it....Sure wish my wife would get close enough to the mower to know what was on it..She got caught up on her mow"n years ago when the rear wheel of an old snapper caught the swing set leg---she went blank--except for hollering she totally forgot that it had one pedal and all you do is push it...She drug the swing all over the yard before she got it stopped....Since then she has had no interest in mowing.

My nephew always wanted to ride with grandpa on the mower. Before starting it he would ask grandpa if he would "put the knob on the rabbit". It has been 15 years and that still gets used about every day around here. Need to do something quick? Just put the knob on the rabbit.

My nephew is 18 now and hates it a little more each time we say it.

the closest my wife has ever been to a piece of lawn equipment is to walk by it to feed a carrot to our horses.

If MY life depended on her starting a lawnmower ( electric start with key in ignition ) ... i'd be a gonner.... :)

You wife is a bit kinder than mine......

A few years ago, she noticed the brush getting up along the fence line & asked me "Can any of those old tractors pull a bush hog or are they just for working on?"

too funny.

ya know.. that reminds me of a time I was talking to roger welsh.. he sent me a pic of a jd his wife drove in a parade.. well.. it broke down, and the pic had her steering it off the parade route, and 3 guys pushing it..

I told him that it looked like it was operating at 'full power'

he thought that was quite funny.. :)

just for working on... too funny.. I'm still laughing at that one.

I gotta tell the wife that one.. :)
