I'd like to build a utility box to hook to the hitch of my 1953 NAA. Something to carry a shovel, rake, chains, axe, etc. Anyone build one for themselves and have pictures to share?

Just a thought here. Have you considered a rear scoop? They are handy for other things too. Not as large as a transport box but they will cary most every thing you mention.

I have used my scoop at shows to carry chairs and coolers.

I've made a couple of versions. One is modeled after the old Ferguson transport box, but this one's a wood box in a steel frame......

This one is just a plain box I wanted to be able to hang it off the front bumper or off my 3-point forks.......

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

scavenged a garden tractor wagon from the neighbors junk.

took the flat tires/wheels off.

cut some of the hitch tongue off, left the dump mechanism.

mounted it to a carry-all frame, axles were just long enough

to clamp to it.

tongue bolted to the carry-all front

works fine, dumps

I'll see if I have a pic somewhere

either option works good.. the carry-all or a trialer. both easy to accomodate.

or if you have a torch, welder and scrap metal.. roll your own.

OR, Build yerself a "tote trailer" like this one.

Carries fire wood, dirt, and can even be used in a parade.

Unhook it and it leaves your three point free for skidding logs....(Just do it safely)

Works for me!!!

Gary :)

Not a box, but the carry all frame could easily be used to hold a box.

Thanks!

I wish it looked as good for the market this Saturday. Hail on 6/30 took out the late tomato plants.
