When I got this tractor about a year and half ago , the lift wasn't working at all. What i found is that the lift arms were frozen solid , I heated them to get free and as easy to lift as any of my other tractors. I drained all the oil put in new NAA rings in cylinder , put in new cam follower pin as in Zane's jig instructions . Unfortunately I then started not feeling well , so let sit until recently . Now I am in the process of getting all my tractors fixed up and am working on the hydraulic lift. I dropped the pump again , cleaned out everything , new safety relief valve. I put the pump back in and still have issues, I can't seem to figure why the pump will stop coming up about half way. I put my hand in on the lever , being careful not to put hand in oil, but when I pull the rod towards the front of the tractor the arms come up all the way , as soon as I let go they drop to half way. What may that indicate week springs on the intake or what? Sorry for the long post , I wanted to tell all what happens ( 8N ), maybe someone can tell me where to look. Thanks Stan

| Try adjusting the quadrant - I forget whether forward or back, but try one first, and if it doesn't work, go the other way. |

| Pushing the rod forward and the arms coming up would, to me, seem to show that the pump is working correctly but that there is some adjustment off in the top cover. |
