There are no 4 speed auxiliary transmissions. I looked at the picture that you posted and I have never seen a lever like that. Someone might have made the lever. The transmisison must be either a Hupp or an F&T because of the lever being on the right side instead of on the left like a Sherman.

| As TOH said, check it with a known good/calibrated gauge at the source.
If you have a shooting stream out of the fitting, but nothing at the gauge, might try cleaning out or replacing the line.
I have found the dash gauges from TSC, etc are not accurate at all, but will at least give you an indication if you have no working gauge.
I have a couple of those cheap ones here that I have replaced with good/accurate gauges so if you need one of the cheap ones send me an email. You can have one.
Also, I tend to ignore non-helpful comments.
Most of the folks are here to help or learn or both.
Best of luck! |

Connect a mechanics gauge at the back of the block to check your engine oil pressure.

| I would try a new(or different) gauge. The machined notch in the oil system relief valve plunger is supposed to be there as you describe. what oil is in the engine? Has the tractor been sitting without use for a while? |
