I am looking for the pressed on Distributor Drive Gear found at the end (front) of the cam shaft. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

He is looking for a distributor drive gear, not a timing gear and it is obviously for a side mount distributor since the front mount distributor doesn't have a drive gear.

| The press-on distributor drive gear you're looking for is part number 7RA6255. If you Google that number you'll find dozens of suppliers. Even Amazon has them listed. Probably available from this site as well. I've got used ones if you don't want to buy new.

| I have several used camshafts and bolt on gears. I do not have any press on gears. I have camshafts for front mount distributor engines and side mount distributor engines. Yes they are different. Email is open if you're interested.

| Phillip.......I just looked, YT parts don't list the press-on camshaft drive gear ennymore. (thank goodness) Unless you have an ACCURATE way to "degree" the press-on camshaft drive gear, byte the bullet and buy a re-ground camshaft with bolt-on drive gear. ($150, cheap) ........respectfully, Dell
