I have a 12V conversion discharging battery over night. per Smiths old ford web page
"Get a universal ignition switch at the auto parts store that has an ACC (accessory) position as well as an ON position. Hook the exciter wire to the ACC terminal instead of the ON terminal and you're in business. No diodes or lights are necessary." This is how my tractor is wired but when I checked today the ACC terminal is hot all the time not just in the ACC and ON. Its hot in the off position. Do I just had a bad switch? Tractor turns on and off fine, battery is taking a charge, amp meter works but leave the battery hooked up over night and the start won't even click. tried several batteries.
