12v alternator

Where is a good place to purchase a 12v alternator for my jubilee, which one should I buy and what should I expect to pay for it? It has been converted already.
 
Go to your favorite auto parts store and ask for an alternator for a 1985 Chevy pickup without AC.
 
$35 to $80 exchange.

I use ones for a 1980 Chev pick up no power any thing and buy them at O'reilly's and with a core will cost you $45 and with out a core another $10. That is with the life time warranty to boot
 
like the others said.

you will be getting a delco 10/12 SI 3 wire setup.

wire #2 to the charge stud, #1 thru a 194 lamp to the coil side of the key switch.

and the charge stud to the 'bat' wire on the old vreg ( remove the old vreg.. is not needed anymore..)

you will need to buy the correct pulley for the B size belt that fits the tractor. the normal pulley that comes with the 7127 alternator is for an A size belt

Son has a front mount that has been converted to 12 volts. It has 2 resistors before the coil but it burns the points in about 2 hours of running.
