Way OT, Model A?? Ferguson

Way off topic, but I thought you guys might enjoy the
tractor that showed up at my local corner implement dealer.
He is rebuilding the starter to fire it up.

It's a Model A all right.

That will be a real pulling engine in that tractor! A Model A is rated at 40 horsepower, but the real advantage is that they have LOTS of torque for the HP! They also are good lugging engines.

Best keep the RPM's below 2,000 for long engine life.

Model A's actually came with governors that bolted to the side of the block and run off the timing gear. Used for industrial purposes.
