I made a generic 3pt"all purpose" hitch to pull trailers, etc with 1-1/2x1-1/2 angle iron& a pc. of 4"x1/2"for the bar.You could allways add a rack on the bottom for carrying almost anything you want to use it for.---lha

A carryall is one of my most useful implements. The sides and the tailgate come off as required.

I have a 3 point hitch (self made) attached to a 50 gal oil drum. It's easy to put on a drum with the top cut out or carry fuel in a good drum.
My local machine shop made it as I am not handy with welding. Very handy.

Ditto what everyone said, get (make) a carry all and a good ol bungie cord. Lower , roll the can on, bungie her butt down and roll!

Make her drag the garbage out a few times then she won't think its such a crazy idea! LOL. Carry-All would be better. it would be a pain to un hook the can every time to let it by the road

if she thinks your crazy its only because she hasnt met me lol, 3 point pins on the garbage would be easy to do, if your trash guy doesnt thro a hissy ofer it, plus the can filled with dirt or something can be used for a rear tractor weight when its empty , as well as used around the place for leaves, junk ect
