willard browning 11-20-2009 14:49:25 71.176.164.125 741985 Report to Moderator	hey guys...really am beginning to become addicted to this discussion board, lots of great advise and interesting stories of guys getting into trouble and then out by way of friendly consults...very cool. i know a bit, but not that much....my manifold is cracked and is going to be replaced by one on this site that is...well we'll see... but wondered??? will this replacement of a new manifold help me engine and in what way should I expect better performance? These old 'Irons' were designed to WORK. If 1 cyl goes down, these ole pharts will 'keep on truckin'. If you are going to replace your mnfld, buy the higher priced one, get some 'hi-temp' filler for #4 cyl(on the block)-check the 'Archives'. HTH b   [Reply]   [No Email]
