| | We have the lever kit from Red Rock, but i still have a question. as ours was a cable shift it has no detent on the shift shaft, how will the lever stay in place ? is there a new shaft we can get or do we need some thing else to hold it? thanks

As fer just replacing yer RUSTED shifting cable, sometimes you can find trucking and industrial supply outfits that will make a "custom" plastic lined armored cable for you that won't rust.
