Here's the issue... lady I work with backed over a small 2 wheeled john deer wagon that her 7yr old tows behind his big wheel tricycle... it's a big issue as it was his favorite toy...

She knows i do body work for my tractors and brought it to me to fix... quite honestly.. the thing is a gonner... or would at least take lots of time to beat it out, round the corners, remove paint, repaint.. find appropriate decals, replac e the axle, and 2 small 'lawnmower' wheels..

I'm looking around the toy stores and what not simply trying to find something equivalent, figure it would make a good xmas present anyway.

I'm striking out at usual places I might find this.. like cracker barrel, TSC, lowes and HD.. places that get seasonal toys.. etc.

I havn't hit walmart, kmart or toys r us yet.. but will get them next week.

If anyone knows of a retailer selling em, point me in the correct direction.

dad did this very thing two years ago, and when he bought the replacement and gave it to my niece she yelled "sweet now I got two of these"
then we had to break the news to her.

Good thing she didn't back over the child! (People should walk around their cars and LOOK before they go driving. My wife's car would have saved two tires and a neighbor's property if she'd done that.)

On line or at your Deere Store, new metal ones about $80 where available. Plastic about $40. I just got lucky and picked up a new, made in 1990-92 Model 8310 JD with trailer both for $20 at a sale! Little Grandsons gonna love them!

While I understand if its gone its gone I bet if it has any possibilities of being fixed although not perfect but usable he would rather have his old wagon as oppossed to a new one..

You know how us guys are

I realize you like perfection in your work but would some beating and bending and axle and wheels get it going? Maybe you could forget all the decals and fancy paint and stuff... just get him back in business...

Just a thought...your call of course

I googled "John Deer Wagon" and came up with several available. Try that and see if you can find what you are looking for.
