Sorry Dave, been busy doin......

Thought quite a bit about getting the double rings, then made the jump. 99% of what I do is on rocks, dirt, mud, snow, ice..... They absolutely do the job! Have to be a little careful not to spin the tires too much (if your pulling a load) because they will dig a hole faster then a back hoe....... They are pretty slippery on cement, so if ya got some cement, traction with the double rings is not good. They are pretty bumpy out on the flat if there isn't anything soft...... For Dirt, Rocks, Snow, Mud, Ice they are excellent but they definitely come off come springtime!

With the double rings on, I don't even think twice about conquering a slippery slope.....they say that they are "self cleaning" and they really do, do a good job of dumping the muck from them..... Course never put the 2N in a deep enough mud where you need to chain a log to a tire to get enough traction to get er out! - lol - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnRRGW6z3UQ

Oh, and it's finally dropping some inches where I live..... Spose the kids will want the 2N to double as a ski lift tomorrow!..... No prob... with the double rings it's gettin to the top of the hill!

Kent,

I'm ready! Chains on, tank full, blade on, the warm coveralls hanging by the front door and the freezer full! We haven't even had a flake yet. Supposed to be up to 14" by Sunday night.

Danny

They are around in spots but we don't have them on our prop. We do have a pretty fair sized Cottonwood on the hillside tho!!

Looks pretty crest fallen at this time of yr. Lost all it's leaves now.

Gary :)

What is that stuff, Gary? I just finished mowing pasture. The A/C on the N wasn"t working right so I had to have a beer and a nap this afternoon. The summer ducks are still here but it"s been in the lower 40"s a few nights so I expect they will leave for warm weather soon. My son, the "yankee", who lives 80 miles north of me, says it was so cold last week that his garden may have frosted and may be done for the year.
Sure hope your garden faired better.

Our weather doofi(uss) have predicted that white stuff for here in the next few days, last year was a 'bumper' year - I'm ready, built a rear mount snow plow and just finished 'adjusting'/ adding to a set of chains a pal gave me for my 12.4x38's---BRING IT ON !!

Yep, just getting started here, maybe 1/2" on the hot tub cover & on the BBQ, nothing on the ground since it is too warm. I expect by morning I will be having fun in the snow ridding on Sven.
