Here's what I come up with from my fuzzy memory and experience in shipping parts: Bare block 105 lbs Flywheel 50 lbs Oil Pan 50 lbs (maybe less) Head 25 lbs crankshaft 65 lbs (never shipped one...just a guess) Pistons/rods 15 lbs Camshaft/lifters 20 lbs Manifold 15 lbs Carburetor 4 lbs Front covers 10 lbs Governor 5 lbs Add that up, deducting for parts not included and you should be close. Then if you're looking to ship it, add whatever you need to for packing. |

| | It depends on how you define "engine". The bare block probably doesn't weigh more than 100 - 120 lbs. Add the head, pan, crank, manifold, flywheel, etc, etc.....I'd say at least 300 lbs. |
