I am restoring a 2N tractor. I originaly had an "above the hood" air intake assembly. I want to make it a "below the hood" air intake. Is there a filter cap or something I can use on top of the existing unit to finish it off to be below the hood? Or is there a whole "new" unit I could buy to accomplish this? Possibly the 8N assembly? Thank You

If you go below I am guessing you are going to patch the hole in the hood? Someone here may have a good thru the hood air cleaner. I had one but did a even trade for a 8N air cleaner. I put a 8N hood on my 2N...I am no purist. Just got a set of 8N running boards today that I am going to put on my 2N

Mike, it sounds like you will have to purchase the top prefilter and filter piece. (The top cover and "sreen" part in the picture) My 2N was missing these when I bought it and I could not find just those two parts. I ended up purchasing a whole new (used) filter assembly off of ebay.
