53' Jubilee 12v conversion. I'm having an ammeter problem and started looking at the other wiring. Several wires have been cut and not in use and other wires look old and cracked. I really do need to rewire this tractor. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 53' Jubilee 12v conversion using a 6/12v coil and external balast resister? Thanks for your help in advance.

Here is stock Jube wiring, with mark up using stock wiring harness with mods. Ballast would be inserted in wire going to coil.

JMOR, thanks for the diagram. I found a broken wire from the alt.to the ammeter and the other alt. wire is not connected to anything(?). I don't know were it goes. No wander the ammeter didn't work. I made a hand diagram on my wiring and will post it as soon as I can get this scanner to work.

JB.......ah-yeah, a "bubba" 12-v conversion with cut wires. I know 8-ways to convert to 12-v and they all work. I now know a gazillion plus 1-ways that don't work. I have NO idea what wiring diagram you would need. Make yer own pictorial wiring diagram on a torn-open brown grocery bag. Why? 'cuz it once worked and you want to refresh the old dried out wiring, 'nuttin' changed.

I do know I would use a real 12-volt ignition coil (NAPA IC14-SB) that uses NO RESISTORS EVER. .......Dell, a 12-volt advocate for the right reasons, that said, I haven't found the right reason for my eazy starting 6-volt 52-8N

Thanks Dell(WA), I found a piece of paper and made a hand drawing of my wiring, an artist, I am not. Again, thanks.
