I have a couple of jugs of it and would like to use it in my wife's car. It doesn't say how long it is good for, and I don't want to change it again next year, but I have two jugs in the garage. I could be mistaken, but I believe it is good pretty much good forever for freeze protection and the reason for changing is to maintain corrosion protection, especially important in engines with aluminum exposed to coolant. As long as the tester shows you have adequit protection for the temps. in your area , you should be ok. I have antifreeze in our '97 F-150 that has never been changed, just added to when it gets low. We have winter temps. of 15-30 all the time and we have not had any problems.   [Reply]   [No Email]
