Well written....letters from MOM.I know a lotta of em. Especially in the hills of TENN, KY, and even parts of ALABAMA.
In fact my own mother, here in PA.
When we got her that MAYTAG, we put it on the back porch. Later about now in NOVEMBER, it started gett'N too cold for the machine and MOM to do the dirty clothes. We enclosed the porch arouhd the MAYTAG and had to start paying property "improvement" tax ever since. Someth'N to do with sq. footage of living space. Circa. 1938. John,PA tears of the letter.
