Hey everybody! It's been a while since I've posted - I've been pretty involved in some other things this summer, and unfortunately my 8n has been under a tarp in the yard for about 3 months. I've checked the forums a few times, just to make sure everybody's still here. Looks like everyone is pretty much the same - for better or worse.

TOH - I was wondering if you ever had time or opportunity to create the Hokie Hydraulics for a side-mount. There's a slim chance that SWMBO might even let me buy one - not now, you understand, but maybe within the next year. If I'm really good.

Hope everyone else is ready for winter. I have a feeling its going to be a long, cold, snowy one.

Joe

That sounds perfect! A guy I know worked his last shift last night. He's not sorry to go - looking forward to it. I wouldn't be surprised if he told a few people where to go before he left, either! :D

I'll be watching, and waiting, patiently, mostly.

I'm looking forward to the sidemount kit too! Times are hard here like most everywhere else and it's easier to put this on my tractor than get another right now.

Rarely do we go more than 2 or 3 days w/o having conflicts between things fun to do. The problem is usually which fun thing! I'm constantly torn between playing w/ the N's, playing in the garden, etc, etc. You'll see!

You don't have to push!!! To tell the truth I've been counting down, first years and now months, since 1/2/71 when I showed up at TMB for my first day of Federal Service. Now that it's a reality and all I have to do is pull the trigger I'm frozen behind the sights

Hey Joe,

Nope - no time to work on the side mount version. Orders for sleeve tools and HH front mount kits have me swamped. My plan is to retire first of the year so I'll have more time to spend in the shop. And there's a rumor that a loaner side mount might show up here for developmental purposes. So be good and by the time you earn your kitchen pass perhaps I'll have something for you to spend it on :D
