Tom.......gack......I hate guessing values; but as a general rule, a good condition, good running, good ag-bar tires, sidemount 8N is probably worth about $2500. A good external hydraulic pump drive FEL can add about $500. A good external hydraulic pump backhoe can add about $500. Trying to run these MAJOR additions from yer weaksister internal hydraulic pump is BAD idea and can cost you $1000 to a knowledgeable tractor buyer. Remember, private party sales are "negotiable" as there is NO "Blue-Book". What you may think is excellent condition, maybe questionable condition to someone else. But I can tell you this, iff'n it don't start eazy the first time, guess what??? that just cost you $500. Does 12-volt conversion add to value? Not really, IMHO. I know of too many "Bubba" 12-volt conversions that are an abomination and of questionable effectiveness. Does OEM 6-volt subtract value, it shouldn't. .......Dell, a NON-authority |
