Trying to start my n9 I find at times it wont crank. After doing some tests I found out the solenoids not being pushed in faras it needs to go.Could this be the solenoid, rod to the solenoid or the starter switch to the rod?Any help would be great. |

| | It's NOT a solenoid, it's a SWITCH. The switch contacts could simply be almost worn out, or it could be a combination of wear and sloppiness on ALL the parts involved in depressing the switch PLUS a worn switch. |

| Take out the push button starter&check the starter rod lever is worn,if not check the switch, and clean all connections.I use a little dielectric grease on the connectors, nuts, bolts etc when putting everything back together to get good ground and hot connections.---lha |
