12 volt conversion pictures

I bought an alternator conversion for my 8N, side distributor tractor but the kit did not have instructions for mechanically mounting the alternator, just a generic picture that looked like a car mount. I know that somewhere on the Internet, there must be pictures of a correct
conversion but I can't find any.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I found the schematic, now I need a picture of the mechanical mount for a late 1952, 8N.

make a bracket out of angle iron and flat strap that uses the oem left side genny mount holes.. fpr the top bracket you have a few choices.. get a universal top bracket with an adjuster slot.. then use a water pump bolt.. or a headbolt if you have to.. I prefer setups that don't use headbolts..

Thanks to all that submitted pictures.
Jonallgrow's picture used the same brackets that I received in the kit. I have found a great resource in this forum. As you might have guessed, I'm not mechanically inclined and a picture IS really worth a 1000 words.

Marty........nice clear picture of the 4-nipple frontmount with r/h side alternator. Unfortunately, the later 8N 5-nipple sidemount distributor is gonna be in the way, which is why ALL sidemount alternators are mounted on the RIGHT side. .......Dell

I've always have trouble marching for my drill Sargent until he made me carry a rock in my right hand. (grin) .......Dell...... hup-one, hup-two.....about face MARCH!!!
