ZA cracked block?

My cousins have a ZA that they hadn't ran in about 30 years. Was running fine when they parked it. Now, when they were working on getting it going again, they have some coolant coming out of the carburetor and the exhaust, and in the cylinders. I have heard the blocks can crack on the top. Where specifically do they usually crack that would cause this problem?

RE101 blocks are real thin above piston. May need a small mirror to see where seeping. Usually only one hole. May have cracked head rather than block. Not common.
