1948 RTU Wiring

My RTU was running great until I got into the wiring to put it
back to the original 6v. It had a 12v battery with the Jenny
and lights disconnected. There were lots of wires jumped
together with screws. Is there a diagram with the push pull
ignition switch and light switch for a distributor? All I can
find is with the rotary switch or with a mag. I have all of the
manuals but there are no diagrams in any. Im good until I
try to start the tractor because I lose spark after pressing
the starter button. I know Im missing something. Any help
would be great.

If has push pull is for mag kill. All with distributor had rotary. Light switch had step up for third brush in generator when more current required.

Understood. At this point I dont have the rotary switch or the dash to accommodate it. Per the book you could convert the tractor from mag to distributor but they dont explain the wiring. There are plenty of these out here with a pull switch for ignition. Just looking for some suggestions. Thanks

The push pull switch is just an simple off on switch. Run a wire from the amp gauge to the switch then from the switch to the coil. pull to start push to shout off. I did my dad's that way back in the seventy's.
