The UTI range for 45 is 321102-325230. The KEF range for 1945 shows to be 552999-558011. The KEF is a single block single head engine and it ws replaced with the 283-4 which had two 2 cyl. blocks and heads. HTH Bryce [Reply]  [No Email]

The front axle was heavier than the wheatland (standard) "U". The tractor was made for about 20 years from 1937 to 1957. It had the 283 engine, the same as the other U's and weighed about 7000 pounds. In the 1950's the UTIL was built.
