Looked at a g1355 and looked like this, was wondering if it had the internal or external from the picture, any help appreciated.

Looks like they replaced the internal one with an external because it has the early oil cooler.On the white 2-150 the filters are on the oil cooler its all one unit.

I'd like to know how you tell to, the one I looked at I couldn't turn over so it must of been locked up and was missing the fuel pump, what's it worth?

That's the external oil pump on the side of the engine where earlier models (G1000, etc) had the hydraulic pump mounted. The external oil filters are another clue. The G1355 hydraulic pump is on the transmission case.

Ok.....(duh on my part) I saw the hydraulic pump and didnt think about the Oliver rear end that the pump is there. I thought the filters were just fuel filters in the picture since my 950s are in that spot. Where do they locate them on the 1355s?

But some g1355s had the internal, how do you tell when it's internal, can you post a picture so I can see the difference.

Im guessing there would be an absence of the pump and filters and possibly just a "plate" where the pump would be? This is the only pic I have on my computer that shows that side.

In this pic you can see the little pump mounted low on the engine. This is a transmission cooler pump. When it has the external oil pump, this little pump is replaced with the big pump shown in the other pictures. The external pump is the only ones with spin on oil filters, as the internal pump filter is in the oil pan. THese tractors use the stanadyne sqaure glass fule filters like alot of John Deere's and others.

Alright I see what your talking about now. I'm gonna have to check. Thought the one I looked at had spin on filters but I'm gonna have to double check, thanks for explaining I understand now.

So no filters = internal
Filters= external

Know I'm starting to wonder if it had filters or not.... It said mm on the front so its a early one thought it might of been converted starting to second guess myself again. Wish it wasn't locked up, still want it but its gonna take a fortune.

That is what Im guessing. No filters AND no pump below the injection pump. Ive only been around a couple 1350s and not sure if Ive ever really been around a 1355. I sure like them though.
