I appreciate your concern and have noticed that in previous posts. Since this tractors been in the family we had some experence with learning of its limitations. As a teen ager I went over to the dealer and helped the elderly owner and his brother put in a Torque-Amplifier Clutch so we could buy it. Then at one point My Dad had the idea to plow dirt & scrape it up to fill waterway ditches and noticed the weakness in the engine area. Now it has been fitted with channel side frames like almost every other tractor starting with the Allis Wd and just like the MM U302 has so it been strengthened up some. A person does have to keep in mind a farm tractor is not a industrial Dirt Moving machine or a skid-stir loader. Its the best tractor I have so it going to get treated with care from now on out-You could say its hard days are behind it.Thanks for the concern.cleddy |
