When I bought our G705, the first thing I wanted to do was dump that ugly cab off. Didn't have time right away, so it stayed on, and the longer it stayed on, the more it grew on me. Now I think the cab adds so much character to the tractor, it really makes it cool. Instead of stripping it apart to build a puller, we've made it into our parade/ club ride tractor. The club we're in drives them everywhere, I'd guess we put almost 200 miles on the old gal last summer. What a blast, and many times I was thankful for that cab! Still, I couldn't resist the urge to drop the hook on it a few times LOL! |

| Yes I like open station also. I would not put a cab on if it took much drilling ect to sheetmetal and so forth. I agree the cabs are very good. Cold wind and protection from dust are good reasons for sure. Alot of guys don't like a water cooler but they are cool enough for me. I will put one on there if I find a cab. |

| The cab on mine looks like it just sets down between the fenders and bolts to the platform. All of the GVI, G705 and similar models were factory open station. The cabs are not made by Moline either. You shouldn't have to take the fenders off or do any butchering. At most, you should only have to drill mounting bolt holes. I can take some pictures and send them if you'd like. |

| Pics would be interesting if they are not trouble to get. Who made your cab? Egging and Meade made cabs for Case and I am sure others. Shame all this has been scrapped. Perfectly good tractors. This was big time MM country we had big dealers here and now they are nearly non existant. I have to get parts from a long ways away. Better than the alternative though. I am doing the best I can for not having parts around close. |
