Hi im working on a what i assume to be a 1963 mm g705 but the tractors motor is about the only thing that looks like a g 705 the front end looks like a gvi but i dont know the model # is D504-6 witch is correct for a g705 from what i understand then the s# is 23703705 witch dosent match any diesel s# ive found. |

| 237 prefix is for a D504-6 engine for G-705 or G-706 tractor according to my list. Looks like they built 2094 diesel G-705s and 821 diesel G-706s so that engine number should be pretty near the end of production.

| The tractor serial # tag is on the right side of the transmission housing. The 504 was a common engine swap into the GVI, and for tractor pulling, the GVI nose piece and side tins is an easy way to get your G705 into the antique classes as a GVI. |
