you wanting to spend big money i built a 570 cube motor for my u 3 years ago and had 8500 in it. i got a 605 same as a 403 but just 6 cylinders that you can take the juggs, heads, rods and pistons out of and put on a u crankcase with a 6 inch crank and have 425 cubes. it has a 4 3/4 bore in it and 4210 heads on propane. you can get the 605 for 1500. you can offset grind the crank to 6 1/8 and bore the jugs to 4.810 and have 434 cubes. cheap start on a engine this way. |
